Want to go back in time and get a sense of living in Labrador over the last 7,500 years? This is our deluxe all-inclusive package that includes one night accommodation at Point Amour Lighthouse, and two nights at Battle Harbour. On the way we will visit the "must see" attractions in the Labrador Straits including Red Bay World UNESCO Heritage Site and enjoy culinary and hiking experiences exclusive to this tour.
This tour has two entry options:
Option 1:
Leave your vehicle in St. Barbe, purchase your ticket for the MS Apollo, walk on, enjoy the ferry crossing and leave the rest to us!
Season/Dates:
- Departs: June 15th to September 15th

Option 2:
Fly from St. John's with Provincial Airlines. We are pleased to work with Provincial Airlines to offer reduced rate flight option for our tour only. We will pick you up to join the group at Blanc Sablon airport.

We book your flight return from St. John's. Please ensure information provided matches your photo ID for security.

Itinerary
Day 1:
Your day begins when we pick you up at your entry point. We start our tour with lunch at Sea View restaurant. We'll work our way through small villages along the scenic Labrador Coastal Drive to visit the newly designated UNESCO World Heritage Site in Red Bay, learning about the Basque history and significance of this site to world history. Finally, we'll finish the day at Provincial Historic Site Point Amour Lighthouse, where you will dine exclusively, roam the Raleigh trail and stay the night in the Lightkeepers Residence, an exclusive option with Tour Labrador. If the season is right, this is a prime location for whales and icebergs.
Days 2 & 3:
The next day we continue with a driving adventure on the Trans Labrador Highway to meet your ferry to bring you to your final destination at Battle Harbour. Because one night is just not enough, you'll spend one and a half days and 2 nights. Leave technology and modern communications behind and find yourselves walking through a restored 19th century fishing village. Roam the island, learn about the history of Battle Harbour, once the capital of Labrador, and dine on gourmet traditional Labrador dishes. Depending on the weather and time of year you can take in an exclusive experience on the island and enjoy entertainment on site.
Day 4:
Transport will pick you up at the Battle Harbour Ferry port. Our tour ends on the fourth day when we say our good byes at your departure point.
Terms & Policies
This tour operates on 2 person minimum / 4 person maximum basis. Join as an individual, a couple or a family. For family or group rates of 4 or more, please contact us.
Bookings must be made in advance. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required upon booking.

All meals are included. Alcoholic beverages are not included.
We reserve the right to re-arrange the schedule for your comfort and convenience should the weather or ferry schedule require changes to be made. Maxs House, Point Amour Lighthouse accommodations are based on bookings. Should Lighthouse accommodations be unavailable, local B&B or hotel bookings will be made.
