Experience the best of both worlds! Our Cross-Border tour takes in both the Labrador Straits and the Quebec Lower North Shore regions and offers the best experiences and excursions found in the area.
Leave your vehicle in St. Barbe, purchase your ticket for the MS Apollo, walk on, enjoy the ferry crossing and leave the rest to us! We pick you up at the Ferry Terminal in Blanc Sablon, and bring you back at the completion of your tour.

Day 1:
Your day begins when we pick you up at the Blanc Sablon Ferry Terminal! We start our tour walking back in time, learning about the 9,000 year old history of the Labrador Pioneers. We then work our way through to 500 years ago, visiting the newly designated UNESCO World Heritage Site at Red Bay were we learn about the Basque and the whale oil industry they developed. We continue into the last two centuries learning about recent culture and walking in the footsteps of pioneers on the Pioneer Footpath, and visiting the Point Amour Lighthouse Provincial Historic Site.
Spend both nights at Maxs House, Point Amour Lighthouse after dining at our exclusive Lighthouse Dinner. Every Friday night we move exhibits and set up Fine dining in various rooms in the Lighthouse.
Day 2:
We'll head off in the morning to learn about the centuries of utilizing the rich marine resources from whales, to seals, to cod, to... aquaculture! Well spend the afternoon at AquaLabadie learning about scallop farming, helping to harvest lines, and enjoy a scallop of your choosing with champagne.
Our Cross-Border tour is an all inclusive, hassle-free package that includes:

- Above ankle hiking boots
- Rain jacket/rain pants
- Extra clothing in case of cold
- Dry socks

Physical Requirements: Visitors need to be able to comfortably do easy walks on low intensity trails for approximately one hour.
Terms & Policies
This tour operates on 6 person minimum / 10 person maximum basis. Join as an individual, a couple or a family. For family or group rates of 4 or more, please contact us.
Bookings must be made a minimum of 14 days in advance. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required upon booking.
This package does not include Strait of Belle Isle ferry bookings or cost for ferry crossing. Visit www.labradormarine.com to make your ferry reservation.
All meals are included. Alcoholic beverages are not included.
We reserve the right to re-arrange the schedule for your comfort and convenience should the weather or ferry schedule require changes to be made. Point Amour Lighthouse accommodations are based on bookings. Should Lighthouse accommodations be unavailable, local B&B bookings will be made.
